A Dark Cozy Experience

Babushka by Cozy Raven Interactive is a narrative 2D adventure set in a mystical Slavic forest starring Vesna, a quest-completing grandma who keeps her garden in shape by day and thrashes mutated creatures and malicious forest spirits by night. An exciting genre mix of farming simulation, turn-based roguelite, and folklore.

Inspired By Real Events

The post-apocalyptic setting is inspired by the Chernobyl disaster and its aftermath. You play as a Babushka, part of a group of elderly women, living in an exclusion zone. Despite the dangers, the Babushkas refuse to leave their homeland and fight for their own survival and that of their community.

A Slavic Folklore

Catastrophic events turned the forest of the spirits upside down, and it’s on you to bring peace back. On your journey through Laznoye, you will encounter iconic Slavic spirits such as the Leshy, Domovoi, Chugaister, Mavka, and many more. The forest spans four distinct biomes, each holding its own dangers and mysteries.
